This branch is horrible. The staff is very used to dealing with business customers and not actual people. If you're already an M&T customer, do yourself a massive favor and visit either of the branches in Smithtown instead. If you're looking to begin a banking relationship, go ANYWHERE else.
Stopped at this branch when I was running errands, my mistake! The new girl opened my personal CD and put my original papers in my folder instead of filling it. Simple mistake, until she and her co-worker called my office, then my husband, who was out of state on business. (Glad it wasn't a secret) Several messages demanded that it was URGENT I contacted the bank immediately to all. Embarrassing! I recently switched from Capital One to M&T Bank, I am so happy with the service overall. My business banker Jeff Palma has been so helpful with the transition, I would still be on hold with Cap1 waiting for a human right now where with M&T I was up and running in no time.
