This review is mainly based on their ATM which for the last 2/3 months has not been fully functional (unable to accept cash) and is unfortunately the only one on site. I have gone about 4/5 times now to deposit cash only to have the machine spit back my cash with a message on the screen saying something to the likes of "deposited cash could not be processed." Jen and her team at M&T Parsippany are the best! I was able to refinance my home mortgage for a lower rate and shorter term through M&T, saving me thousands. I’m also in the process of purchasing a business and the commercial building it’s in and M&T is working with the SBA to get the financing lined up for these purchases. I can’t speak highly enough about how personable and dedicated the M&T team is, they really work for you to solve all your banking issues.
Deposit in ATM money was taken and error receipt given to me.It never posted to my account.Bank told me I had to wait 10 days to resolve dispute.I asked her to check the ATM and she wouldn’t.I asked for a provisional credit till the dispute was resolved.They said they would give me one that day.I didn’t get it.Worst bank ever.
For my business and personal accounts, M&T Bank is second to none. Jen Peel, Dina Cullen and the rest of the team have been fantastic for me and many of my area clients for several years now. Big bank services with a local feel. Cannot do better than that.
