I am very frustrated with the service at M&T. I have a M&T credit card that I use occasionally. I received a late fee for posting my payment one day later than the date it was due. It is my experience at all other credit card companies that with a clean record they generally waive the fee in this instance. I called M&T and was on hold for way too long and then finally reached a representative to request that they waive the fee. Nice, helpful, and knowledgable people. Prompt service. But there's a loooong wait for service. Even if you just want to deposit. If you just want to deposit, you're better off using the ATM.
