I recently moved to the area and started banking at M&T and this location. From day one, the service here has been terrible most of the time. I have only had great service from one person, and that is the extremely friendly female teller at the counter. I wish that I had seen these reviews first. The first time I was at this location, opening my accounts with one of the personal bankers in their office. I was shocked by what I experienced! Never felt as if I didn't matter or was less then before. Extremely poor customer service.
They wouldn’t cash a check because of fraud suspicion, even though they called the issuer of the check and asked for all all kinds of information to verify. A simple transaction that they were able to easily perform at another MNT location they could not do it this location. I suspect discrimination against me because I was in construction worker clothes so I probably look like a peasant to them.
