I had been written a check by a reputable M&T customer, I presented the check at M&T for payment after an hour drive from my house, after being told they would charge me 2 percent, the teller then stated they would not cash the check without speaking to there customer, I never want an M&T check again, poorest customer service ever and waste of my travel time 👎

The bank charges you 20 percent to cash a check that was written on their bank… Worst bank ever how crazy
