Went in to open up a joint personal account EZ Choice Basic checking (not business). The Senior Relationship Manager kept insinuating that we wanted to open a business account and then asked personal questions about our relationships with other banks. He proceeded to inform us that we had to make a certain amount of transactions within the first 30 days and that the bank would examine other transactions afterwards and has the right to close account. The door is ALWAYS broken and the bank closes at 4 so forget using the ATM if you have an actual job. Genuinely don’t understand how you can have such few locations in the city and have them be so useless.
I do banking here for one of my clients. They have a great team (Wayne, Helena and Amir to name a few) there - gregarious and accommodating. When opening a new account both past and current branch managers, Desi went the extra mile by making sure the client got exactly what she needed including an office visit.
For their online portal, to set up recurring payments on a loan you have to either have to PRINT and MAIL in a request or spend 30 minutes on the phone?? How is there no "make recurring payments" button online??? Terrible digital tools
