**Stay away from M&T Bank for mortgage lending** We spent months going through M&T’s loan process to purchase a commercial property in Bergen County, NJ. The process took so long that our purchase contract expired before we received the commitment letter we needed. The loan processor went away for over a month long vacation and our process was unnecessarily delayed. First time visiting this place and got to say it was a great experience. They had to take a few extra measures to authentic me which can be a bit annoying but hey they are very nice and get the job done. Will absolutely return.
