Be sure to read the fine print. Having a loan through M&T reminds me and reassures me of why I will from here on forward just use credit unions. Phone service was abhorrent and useless. Buyer beware comes to mind. This bank makes a lot of money on people being ignorant to their “fine” print. Don’t expect much from their phone support.
Friendly staff, very helpful
I was trying to get a check cashed, they kindly explained the rules and that I would need an account. They refused to open an account because "they knew that I was just going to deposit the check, withdrawal the money, and never use the bank account again". Um, excuse me?
