**UPDATE** I contacted the carecenter and an investigator reached out to me and investigated the matter and then followed up to inform me that the staff had been coached on improving their behavior. The investigator was very sympathetic and supportive. I feel its only fair to update and provide a good review for M&Ts responsive efforts. I had an extremely UNPLEASANT experience with the branch manager at this branch. She was unnecessarily rude and condescending and should not be working in a customer service position with such an attitude.
M&T is an excellent bank, I’m a young man with a low income and every-time I go into the bank or talk with them on the phone they are very helpful and timely mannered. It’s been a pleasure doing business with them, even when I lived in Connecticut they had amazing employees. M&T employs the best of the best. I do really like this branch specifically in Garden City it’s a beautiful area too.
So rude and extremely unprofessional. Do not go here!!! They gave made errors on all my accounts. Refused to fix. You will regret putting your money here.
The staff in the Garden City branch always go out of their way to insure that my business and personal accounts are in good standing. I live 6 blocks from another branch, but always rather make the trip there to do my banking
