Anyone that cares for anelderly parentknows the daily stress and struggles. Taking care of their finances can be a lot of work. Having Power of Attorneyis essential. M & T bank was the only bank that my parent deals with that wouldn't accept a Pennsylvania provided POA with all the necessarysignatures, witnesses, and notarized. The other banks accept the same POA, after reviewing, with no issues. Today I had to transport my 90-year-old Mother to M & Tto close her account. This bank is combative and borders on unethical. Terrible. Just want to close my account but everytime i go in theres some dreamt up reason why i cant. I JUST WANT OUT!!
