BEWARE! BEWARE! BEWARE! If you want to protect your credit score, DO NOT use M&T Bank!!! In Dec. 2021, with an 829 credit score, I mailed my payment to M&T. Without any warning, I started getting late notices and phone calls, and my credit score dropped 100 pts. Reviewing what had happened w/M&T, I was promised this would be addressed and all credit agencies would be notified. It was a ploy to protect M&T, who blamed the U.S. Post Office for my delay.
