Do not purchase a Certificate of Deposit from M&T Bank. They do not honor their agreement to pay the interest on the coupon date of the CD. I am now wondering if I will be able to get my principal back on the expiration date. So beware, choose another banking institution to conduct your business with.
Do not trust this bank with your hard earned funds. They will give you the absolute run around when you attempt to access *your* money. Comprehend that..they will hold your funds hostage.
ok so I've had v standard interactions with the staff here and everything has gone as expected. BUT what i really love about this location is the benches and picnic tables they have set up out front, which allows community members to just enjoy some fresh air. love to come here with a book and a snack and waste an afternoon. banking is decent, too.
