I had to cash a check from an attorney. The attorney’s check was FROM M&T Bank. They charged me $20 to cash a check drawn from their own bank. I was looking around for a new bank- needless to say it will NOT be M&T Bank. I would avoid this bank at all costs- anyone that imposes a $20 fee for something like that- can you imagine their other fees if you bank with them?
