I am over six months on since a robotic hysterectomy. I wanted to wait awhile before a review to ensure no complications. I can honestly say best thing I have done. Mr Gizawy was the first person who truly listened to my struggles as GP’s have often dismissed my symptoms or treated me for low iron levels. Mr El- Gizaway showcased outstanding care and incredible skill during my endo removal and hysterectomy. He step up to the challenge when my 90 minutes planned surgery become 4hrs one - due to false MRI diagnosis. He is the first and last one the ward and his dedication is inspiring. Words can't describe how lucky I feel being his patient.
I was happy that I finally got my surgery to diagnose Endometriosis at 15. However I waited 6 months for my post op appointment just to be dismissed and left feeling upset. My questions regarding my fertility and an adenoymosis diagnosis were dismissed, I then got handed a leaflet to go on a new menopause pill called Ryeqo - which had only been “tested on 31 patients” - This was without having any counselling, any questions answered or any Information about the drug.
