DO NOT TAKE YOUR BIRD THERE, Nov 2016 I took my conure there to have the wings clipped as I have done for many years, But this time they cut through 3 blood feathers and then had to pull the cut feathers out with pliers.There was blood everywhere... i cant even hold my bird upside down anymore without her screaming. Dont go there
This is the best pet store! So many wonderful animals to look at, as well as, handle. The staff is so helpful and informative. They had no problem with my little kids wanting to touch and pet the animals, and were ready to assist them, even when we were just in to browse. They also have a ton of supplies, very fair prices. My kids just want to keep visiting- they say it's better than the zoo. :) Thank you Mr. Petman! We're lifelong customers!!
For anyone giving this store a good review, you're complacent with animal abuse/neglect! All of the snakes in the store have shed on them and look extremely malnourished. I purchased a boa constrictor imperator sold off as a boa constrictor constrictor(red tail) and she was infested with mites we later discovered. At one point we went and even noticed one of their brbs had a missing eye. Horrible. Their fish tanks smell so bad you can't walk through to view the aquariums. Everything in the store is completely overpriced. The owner and manager Anthony is a completely horrible and rude person. I have NEVER in my days met someone with customer service abilities as low as his. The employees (save a few) have absolutely no clue what they are talking about. If you're looking for a pet that has been well taken care of and is not sick or diseased, this is NOT the store to go to. First time ever going to this store and will NEVER go again. Went looking for a few cichlids to add to my tank...what I saw was appalling...there were sick and dead fish everywhere. And these dead fiish had CLEARLY been dead for a LONG time. Although this pet store has been a local favorite for my family for years I will say DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT buy pet rodents from this store!!!!! I have had 3 pet rats from this pet store in the past 5 months which have all died almost immediately after purchasing them! And why the hell did they sell them to me if they knew they were sick? I have absolutely no idea. I keep going back hoping it's better than buying pet rats from petco or petsmart but I am completely wrong. i bought three hamster and two guinea pigs from mr.petman and i love them to death these were not the first pets i bought from mr petman i have bought two parakeets from them and the past and they were all great pets i would tell everyone about this place that is looking for a great pet and i wish this place many more year THANKYOU MR PETMAN. ,Lakayla
