I brought Mr. Pawn two sterling-silver items weighing 187 grams, verified on two separate scales beforehand. Their employee claimed the items weighed only 167 grams and offered me $67. I declined and took the same two items—plus a tiny sterling salt shaker—to Archangel Coins in Las Vegas, where I received $305. Based on the significant difference in both the recorded weight and offer, I cannot recommend Mr. Pawn. I left feeling that their weighing and purchasing practices were neither fair nor trustworthy.
