Called to ask a simple question about their stock, was met with a super rude tone "NO" And then they hung up....yeah, not even gonna waste my money on this place.
I have been in this store many times and have never had bad service from the younger Gentleman that works there. We always drink the same wine, called Butter. It is a chardonnay by Jam Cellars. Tonight, when I did not see it on the shelf, I asked the man behind the counter (an older man, I believe he is the owner) if he had any in stock. He proceeded to tell me that there was no such thing as a wine named "Butter", that it was only a type of wine. The spot is open later than anyone else on a Sunday which is how I ended up here. Friendly staff.
I came to this place based on reviews claiming you can find what you need at great prices... THAT WAS A LIE. They do have most of the basic, some allocation, but the prices are not right. Over charging almost everything by 5 to 60 dollars depending on what you're looking for. With some allocations even being up charged by 100 dollars. Lets be real. You are not going to build a good reputation with distilleries by over charging your customer base. Charge MSRP and move more units. You'll suddenly find you're getting more desir... read more
