MPB is a hit or miss from my experience. Selling, buying and trading are easy. Purchases from MPB has been a positive one, but their condition ratings require better care and judgement. Quoted offers for your gear are a bit low compared to what they sell for on their own website. Trade or sell if you just want to upgrade or get rid of your gear without any hassle. I sent them perfect lenses and now they are saying the most expensive lense in the box was damaged. It was in its original case and box wrapped around another box. Anyone have problems with switching gear?

Purchased a video camera along with some included accessories from their website. Camera was listed as “like new” condition. Ordered on a Monday, chose the free shipping option. By Wednesday it still hadn’t been shipped even though I received an email saying it had been “dispatched.” I emailed, asking when it would be shipped. Got a response that didn’t answer my question only that he’d pass along my concern that “dispatched” apparently doesn’t mean shipped. Keep in mind, I live a mere 50 miles from their facility. I’ve ordered a few things from here ranging from camera bodies to lenses. I really like that each item has pictures of the actual item you are purchasing (not stock photos). Packaging is always well done and my items show up as ordered and undamaged. One thing I’d like to see improved is much cheaper and faster shipping. I would recommend giving them a try and will continue to order from them as well

Simple and convenient! The trade in price was fair based on popularity of lenses. Like new items saved you only about 10% to 20% off retail. I was happy with my trade, but it could have been better if one of the lenses was 20% off. If I pay $150, I could have gotten a new lens. Even though these lenses are used and a little dirty, after a thorough cleaning they looked as good as new for excellent condition.
