I have ordered approximately 12 times (a few camera bodies, several lenses, camera bags and many Pelican cases) from these folks and have been very happy with each transaction. They sent a package to the wrong address, where I could not access it, and forced me through an adversarial investigation process for weeks before owning up to their mistake and refunding me. I’ll never buy from MPB again. Fully story below… I sent in a $1500 Fujifilm XH2 for exchange due to IBIS defects. Upon receipt of my camera, it took MPB 2+ weeks to “inspect” it. I am writing this review specifically to warn international buyers who plan to purchase from MPB while visiting the US or using a forwarding service. I bought a Tamron lens listed in "Excellent" condition. However, the item arrived defective right out of the box: the autofocus did not work at all. Because I reside in South America, I was unable to physically return the lens within the standard return window, although I reported the defect to their support team immediately via email (back in Oct 2024). I've sold equipment to MPB in the past an was generally pleased with their service. But my recent experience trading equipment was not acceptable. I traded for a Canon RF 70-200 f 2.8 lens. When the lens arrived, it was loose in the box and the front and rear lens caps were also loose in the box. (Photos attached.) I'm surprised at how poorly they packaged a lens that they were selling for $2400. I planned on trading in some equipment to MBP in exchange for different equipment. They sent me a fair offer for my equipment, so I shipped the items to them. There were 3 problems. First, it took several additional days before I heard back from them. Second, they reduced the amount they offered me for my equipment by nearly one-half.
