My teen loves learning here. Writing, acting, filming, all of it has been an amazing chance for her to learn about the entertainment industry at Moviemakers. The grounds are lovely and the staff/owners are incredibly kind, warm and professional. Highly, highly recommend.

All 4 of my kids have attended movie making camps, acting classes and dungeon and dragon camps from elementary school thru high school and beyond! They have all ranked as many of their favorite summer camps. The acting classes continue to provide personal growth for actors of all levels, beginner thru advanced at any age! I first came to Movie Makers as a child in 2005 and spent the next 15 years taking classes, receiving private coaching, and even working for Melissa and Josh. This is such an incredible place for kids to learn the skills of filmmaking and acting. I cannot recommend it highly enough. As an actress and filmmaker myself, I am so grateful to Movie Makers for sending me down a creative path in my life.

Melissa is a fantastic teacher. I have taken several classes from her, as she has the ability to present complex skills in a way anyone can learn and benefit from. I have also had my kids participate in her movie making classes in the past, and it is an experience they still talk about! Highly recommend!
