I first came to Movie Makers as a child in 2005 and spent the next 15 years taking classes, receiving private coaching, and even working for Melissa and Josh. This is such an incredible place for kids to learn the skills of filmmaking and acting. I cannot recommend it highly enough. As an actress and filmmaker myself, I am so grateful to Movie Makers for sending me down a creative path in my life.

Melissa is a fantastic teacher. I have taken several classes from her, as she has the ability to present complex skills in a way anyone can learn and benefit from. I have also had my kids participate in her movie making classes in the past, and it is an experience they still talk about! Highly recommend!

I was a Movie Makers student starting at age 11, when I attended my first Movie Makers summer camp. It is not an understatement to say that attending Movie Makers during my adolescent and teen years completely changed my life. I learned tons about acting and filmmaking, obviously, but I also learned discipline, team work, and empathy. I highly recommend Movie Makers for all who want their creative life to come alive!

I started taking acting and moving making classes at Movie Makers in middle school and continued all the way through high school. The experience changed my life! I learned most everything I know about acting from Melissa, plus a ton of life skills, discipline, and confidence along the way. Highly recommend!!
