I would highly recommend Movemend for all of your PT needs! I have been seeing Sam for several years initially for ACL surgery recovery and stuck with them to continue developing muscle and accomplish my fitness goals. I am in the best shape of my life thanks to Sam and Movemend. I appreciate that Sam works with me to find a program that I can be consistent with and works for me and my schedule. Especially when I am traveling and have limited access to equipment. I have referred friends to Movemend in the past who have had g... read more

I've been working with Sam at MoveMend for the past year, and I honestly feel stronger and more athletic than I ever have in the last 15 years, since I tore my ACL. Here's where Sam and the team at MoveMend differ from the other ~7 or so PTs I've seen throughout the year: - A cohesive plan from rehab to strength/athleticism. Standard PT gets you rehab'ed and healthy enough for day-to-day. But standard PT has never, in my experience, worked to bring me back to athletic performance. That transition from rehab to strength/athle... read more

I first came to MoveMend in 2023 because of a pole aerials related injury, to see Sam Watkins, who was recommended by a friend. Sam did a great job of helping me heal from that injury, including getting me on a weekly strength training schedule. Training with Sam has been amazing, I got so much stronger (I went from not being able to do any pull-ups to doing multiple) and I'm now in the best shape of my life (I'm in my late 40s). I have also had significantly fewer pole-related injuries, and the ones I had were milder and Sa... read more

I have been working with Sam for almost a year now (for personal training) and I’ve gained so much strength and confidence! I have an athletic background, but during Covid I lost it all. Due to that, I was starting at ground zero with Sam. I also have dynamic disabilities (hEDS +others) and I’m neurodivergent. Working with Sam has been awesome. He consistently shows up in good spirits and ready to help; and the way he explains exercises always makes sense. Even though I’m doing personal training and not physical therapy , wo... read more

I came in for personal training while dealing with ongoing lower back pain. The training has been tailored to my needs, with a strong focus on building strength, improving mobility, and moving safely. What has made the experience different is the added physical therapy perspective. I appreciate having a trainer who understands how the body works and can adjust exercises based on how my back is feeling. It gives me confidence that I am making progress without causing further injury. I would absolutely recommend them to family... read more
