What a delightful shopping experience with Paul this morning! Found the knee high boots I was after and had a lovely chat with Paul at the same time.

I feel very lucky to have a shoe store nearby with a big range of shoes and staff who are not intrusive if you want to browse, but go out of their way if you need help. They took much care to find shoes for my Mum with dementia, limited dexterity and a bunion and have found me sandals and sneakers when I couldn't find any that worked elsewhere (the bunion factor again). Great having experienced staff on hand.
Mountfords shoes Balwyn ,was terrible. I had to go and search for an assistant having walked around the store several times ,only to be told they had no women's slippers at all. This was in a week where there was a morning of-1 degree in Melbourne.
Very helpful lady. She went out of her way to assist me.
