Mountfords will not accept their own gift cards online - you have to use them in store only. How ridiculous is that! In 2025, 5 yrs after covid, these ripoff merchants sell you a gift certificate you can't use online. They used to be a good shoe shop in 1966, but now they are just a pathetic joke. We have no options here because my wife received the gift card as a birthday present. Amazing shoe store with great selection. Especially the leather shoe. Most importantly, decent price. Also the service is amazing , staff were very helpful.
Wonderful service. Engaging young staff and very supporting managerial supervisor. I will repeat the experience in Bourke Street. The same shop in The Block Arcade was not as enjoyable a time with a very cold and disinterested approach to the client. I thanked the saleswoman and walked out.
