Our mom, Betty McCullough, was declining in health due to her dementia. We had to find her a place that would give her the care she needed. We were so fortunate to have found Mountain View Memory care for her. This place is absolutely amazing. The entire facility is kept spotless. Betty was there for a little over a year before she passed. She always said how much she liked the staff and how well they treated her. Our Mom stayed at Mountain View Memory Care for one year and I couldn't be happier with the care they provided during a very difficult time. The staff are compassionate, caring, respectful, courteous, and always helpful. I visited the facility many times, without advance notice, and have always been pleased with the facility and staff. We are very pleased with the staff, cleanliness and safety at MVMC! Our Mother needed placed quickly with another facility changing her status with little notice and threatening to discharge. Amy and staff gave us a tour and all the necessary information for us to make the best choice for MOM! Thank you for a smooth transition and safe and lovely place for Her :-)
While it is a renovated building, there are still many safety hazards which put the residents at a higher risk for fall injuries, for example no fans or ventilation in the showers and serious hvac issues causing condensation buildup to leak onto the floors from the ceiling of the residents bedrooms into big puddles. Another safety hazard is the constant short staffing and supplies severely lacking which puts the residents at a much higher risk for falls and injuries and other health related concerns. Tierney and the wonderful staff at Mountain View Memory Care made what could have been an incredibly difficult transition so much easier. Their kindness, patience, and genuine care gave me such peace of mind when moving my husband into memory care. I’m truly grateful for how they treated him — and us — like family.
