Beautiful place to see regional theater! Right in the heart of downtown Mountain View, this theater is the perfect place to come and enjoy regional theater. The acoustics are great which you fully appreciate when Theatre Works is presenting one of it's amazing musicals. The staff is always friendly and there is a small snack bar for intermission munching.
For the aspiring dancers The mountain view center for the Performing Arts is really a great place. Small studios such as Western Ballet and Pacific Ballet Academy hold anual performaces here. Stories On Stage - Perfect for School Children! The "Second Stage" at the lovely Mountain View Center for Performing Arts offers something unique: Stories On Stage. These 45 minute productions are made for 3-7 year olds. They are adaptations of story books, using nearly blank sets and very few props. The experience is closer to reading a book than watching a TV show in that the children's imaginations are engaged. Very well done, and a perfect introduction to theater for kids.
