Great place Iron Mike is the best!!
Uncool owner, will never support this place
Sometimes I’ll pop in just to say hello to the friendly man behind the counter. He is extremely nice and loves to converse. His store has a great selection of outdoor gear, clothing, and equipment. 110% would recommend!
I went in to look at a new pair of boots, and Iron Mike took the time to really understand the kind I was looking for, help me try a few types and brands, and leave with something I can have a high degree of confidence in for my use. The rest of their outdoors selection is extensive as well.
I stupidly forgot to pack tent stakes and I couldn't find my water filter. D'oh! Popped in here and met Iron Mike. He told me about his water filtration system and sold me a Sawyer Squeeze, which is much better than what I had. He was out of tent stakes but told me how to get to the Winchester store where I got them. Iron Mike also strongly encouraged me to go for it and hike the whole AT. He's a great guy and a great representative for this store!
