Love this practice, Dr. Samuels and his entire team are fantastic, and very thorough. This is a top office for cardiac, from the front desk staff to making appointments, to the sonogram tech etc - all great. The nurses are so kind as well. Dr Samuels is the only heart doctor I trust. Highly recommend this practice.
Was seen on time, got EKG and consultation with my doctor. All good.
Such a bad experience I cancelled my appointment, walked out of the office and made an appointment with another Dr at another facility. It felt like no staff, Dr, or manager was able handle whatever actually happened today. Multiple people around me waiting for hours, with no indication as to why. After complaining and discussing with the office manager (and waiting over an hour) I was told I would seen in 5 minutes or rescheduled. Then the office manager disappeared for 20-30 minutes. Terrible establishment without any accountability in returning calls. 3 weeks without a call back. Office manager Cynthia has never returned calls either.
When you realize you are running late, it is important to communicate with your patient. Demonstrating basic consideration and respect can foster goodwill. In my experience, I have never been late for an appointment, yet I have waited nearly 20 minutes only to be informed that I would not be seen until 4:35 for a 4:00 appointment. A simple phone call to inform me of the delay would have shown foresight and courtesy, which is not too much to ask.
