Great hike for kids, really quite a simple journey. About 1.5km up and down. Took my girls, by myself, 3, youngest was 5, she needed balance assistance.
Very nice view at the top, easy way going up, took me 1h30 all the way to the top and to go down. Amazing!!!
Amazing mountain to climb. Takes around 40 minutes if you are taking it easy. Can get to the top in 20 if you’re really going for it. Be careful going up just before sunset if you’re worried about coming down in the dark (obviously) but fairly safe if you bring a torch.
Well laid out steps to support your knees heading up and down. Lots of variation in steps. They have made it as easy as they can for a big walk uphill! It’s a popular track on a Sunday morning, but never felt crowded once walking. People are very friendly. Poles would be a bonus, but lots of people had sticks for support. I’m only moderately fit and it took me about an hour up with breaks to catch my breath, and 30 minutes down.
