Very good people. Fateh Singh our taxi person was great. Helped us when we were stranded on a highway in mountains near Golden. Great after hours services good cars, took us to Calgary in the midnight hours and we reached a 5 am.
I've used cabs all across Canada and Mount 7 Taxi is my favourite. It can only charge the price set for them by the Passenger Transportation Board so at least you know it's heavily regulated by the government, unlike Uber with its random prices and surge pricing. Drivers are always friendly and can tell you mostly anything about the town.
Drivers are great. The rate they charge is too much. Not even a 5 minute ride cost 20.00. Cab starts at 4.80 and just getting off my property cost 5.60. that's about a block. But since there is no other transportation, they charge what they want. The hours could be improved. People can't get a cab when needed at late nights, from jobs.
