My five-year old son is currently enrolled in the Primary class at Moultrie Montessori School. To be honest, our family had a tough time deciding on the best school for our family, and it was a bit of a stretch to commit to the investment of private school. Moultrie Montessori is an amazing school. The director, Mrs. Jeannie possesses a special gift of communicating with children in an incredibly peaceful manner. The school grounds are wonderful with lots of outdoor space and three separate buildings for each of the age groups. I highly recommend this peaceful environment for a very stimulating educational experience.
Moultrie Montessori is an incredibly peaceful and at the same time educationally invigorating school. I didn't really know much about Montessori education so I spent a day to observe at Moultrie Montessori. I was blown away at what the children were doing at such young ages (the school starts at 18 months and goes to 6th grade or 12 years of age). My 7 year old son has been attending Moultrie Montessori School for 3 years. When we moved to Florida, I knew that I wanted Montessori education for him at least until he began Kindergarten - the value of a certified Montessori education for young children is well-documented, and we had already had a very positive experience with Montessori in our home state.
