Great, professional firm. They've done our wills, conveyancing (for my family and other family members) and helped us greatly with other complex legal matters. Wouldn't go anywhere else.
We finally got our money back from what they over charged us during the settlement, the communication was poor, they posted our money via bank cheque to the house address that we sold, did not advise us nor checking with us if that was the right address, eventually we got the money back via our new solicitor - who are excellent to another level. We will not recommend this firm, Jim was extremely rude and aggressive via email and phone. We are so glad we moved.
Have settled numerous properties over 25 years, including two previously with Hopper York Green (which was acquired by HMB). Have always had positive experiences with conveyancers previously. However, in this case, settlement was delayed by a week, resulting in significant stress and additional expense. Would not use HMB again.
By Wade Mills- Not my first rodeo and I would not recommend HMB to anyone. They made the entire process complicated with their poor communication, and rude phone manners also made two errors with incorrect name spelling on critical documents. If you choose to use HMB don’t expect anything special, and make sure to check the details on the documents they ask you to sign.
