Catherine was a life saver!! This is my first child, so the whole breastfeeding process was foreign to me. I had really bad cracked nipples and didn’t know why. My son was also only sleeping an hour at a time at night which was another mystery. Catherine helped me realize that I was holding him wrong while feeding and not having him latch correctly which was why my nipples were so badly cracked and not healing (talk about painful!!). So grateful to have had (and continue to have) Catherine as a resource during my breast-feeding journey. I had consultation with her shortly after my son was born to better understand how to breast-feed, and she taught me so much about his cues, what to look for during feeds, how to know when he’s done, and a plethora of other helpful information. Catherine is an amazing Lactation Consultant! She’s thoughtful, caring and goes above and beyond to help her clients, supporting the mom’s mental health and well-being, while also providing the technical advice. With her help, I was able to get my “sleepy baby” to exclusively breastfeed after a long 9 week journey.
