Called this lawyer.. says he represents landlords... asked question about emailed notice to vacate… he says yes they can do this if in the lease agreement it says they can.. In Texas Property code Sec. 24.005 sub section f it says notice to vacate must be delivered by mail, in person, by hand. This man just told me policy supersedes the law.. this makes me want to go to law school and go against every corporation because you expect the public to be illiterate and unfortunately it works in you all’s favor 99% of the time..
