RecommendedI took a bird class yesterday with David. while I consider myself a crafty person and love to paint, I have never done intricate mosaics like this before. With David's amazing instruction I was able to create, and be proud of my Bluebird accomplishment. I worked slow, so the background is not complete yet. Looking forward to taking more classes.
Took David Jarvinen's Abstract Mosaics class from Mosaic Arts Online. Learned so much about line, color, and balance in the Abstract form. He also provided useful tips for working with mastic as an efficient alternative to glue-and-grout. Concise, clear instruction as only an expert can provide. Looking forward to more online classes from David.
Took a Mandala Mosaic class on Fri. w/Dave Jarvinen & it was excellent in both his knowledge & in his manner of working with each of us. He was informative, encouraging & kept an easy commentary with everyone, making everyone feel at ease in doing something new, or not new, to them. I will take as many classes as I can from Dave.
Took a "Mosaic Hummingbird" class today with Dave Jarvinen and it was outstanding! Dave gave us all great direction and instruction on what to do and how to do it while encouraging our individuality in our pieces. We all ended up doing very different things and they all looked great! I am looking forward to taking another mosaic class with Dave!!!
I always attend Dave's mosaic classes when possible. He is so knowledgeable and nice and whatever we make is fantastic! Recommend him to everyone from beginners to experienced!
Terrific fun class! I recommend it for a busy day getting out of the heat!
