We stumbled upon Thomas Morton's shop in Lititz years ago when we stumbled upon Lititz itself, and both have been good finds. In subsequent years, we purchased a dining table and four chairs, a made-to-order coffee table, two cabinets, and an end table or two. The wood Thomas uses is exquisite, and the styling of each piece is distinctive, yet familiar. He's repaired items that needed attention, and he's always been more than fair to deal with. Before the Ice Festival February 2023, be aware of Morton's Fine Furniture and watch for what is said in the poor reviews. For some reason this poor rating review of Morton Fine Furniture keeps on getting taken off. I have to agree with M Pars who did a previous review. The owner is deceiving and a liar and sadly will rip you off. For some reason this poor rating review of Morton Fine Furniture keeps on getting taken off. I have to agree with M Pars review. The owner is deceiving and a liar and sadly will rip you off. That is why I am writing this review in order to let everyone know that I wish I had stayed with my gut feeling before I purchased from Morton's Fine Furniture. High charges for a very inefficient delivery service. Quality of work ok, just ok for the high price. Would not purchase from this furniture maker again.
We bought a beautiful cherry dresser from Morton almost 20 years ago. It has aged spectacularly. The color has deepened with each passing year. Incredible craftsmanship and durability!
