We sure gave them a challenge - and they rose to the occasion. For years my Great Grandmothers' (born in 1850) spinning wheel languished in basements, in pieces. So we finally looked to get it restored, and it turned out wonderfully. Check it out! So special - thanks to Mort and Pearl for their efforts in bringing this family heirloom back.
I am deeply grateful to LaPointe Antiques and Restoration for its exceptional work in restoring a cherished family heirloom. Mort restored our weathervane to its original condition or perhaps better. Welded a new sleeve with ball bearings so it spins effortlessly and regilded the mermaid in gold leaf. Couldn't be happier with the results. Highly recommend!
