Beautiful, caring staff who treated my grandma like their own family. I’ll never forget how much love they showed her during her years there, especially in her final days. My grandma loved her classical music, and they made sure her radio was playing 24/7. They really, truly cared with such love and respect - and i cannot thank them enough.
This is a facility where even the basics are missed. As family who regularly visit, our time is consumed asking for the essentials to be done, like cleaning the bathroom and toilet and emptying the rubbish bin in our loved ones room, which detracts from spending quality time with our loved one. Despite the advertising featuring landscaped gardens, for the past year written complaints about long grass, weeds in gardens and rubbish which staff walk past daily, have not been acted upon. I have such a long phone log of failed attempts to make contact with anyone at Mortimer Gardens just so that I can contact my mother and speak to her. It is her 90th Birthday today and I am unable to go see her because of work so I thought a call would be nice before I go to work. Once again nobody answers the phone. I have left messages and nobody ever calls back. This is just pathetic.
