As a first time home owner I thought mortgage companies were supposed to help their customers. Yes your company helped my husband and I buy our home but when we needed you the most your turned your back on us. We have valid documented reasons needing assistance and you flat out told us no. Shame on you. I wouldn't refer my worst enemy to your company. I hope all your employees have presents under their Christmas tree because this house won't even have a tree. Thanks for not helping us.
After getting denied by 2 other places for refinancing due to specific circumstances I contacted Mortgage Solutions. Our loan officer was Frank Villagrana and he was by far the best ever! He was very upfront on what we could get and what needed to be done. After being denied on the appraisel for VA because of needing some minor work I was ready to give up but he went above and beyond to assist and got the work done for us so we could pass the inspection and all went through. If I could give them negative stars, I would. We applied for a refinance through a local loan broker in Arizona (FHA) in April. We received initial approval from them right away. When our file went into underwriting, the nightmare started. The underwriter would take weeks to review a small item, approve it, then add an additional item. This dragged on for months.
