I have a mortgage with this company. I am 70 years old and have never missed a payment on anything ever. My credit score is consistently above 825 with each credit bureau each year. I changed my home insurance policy recently. The companies inform each other of such changes. I received in the mail a nasty, threatening letter from Mortgage One about my home insurance lapsing. They transfer your loan to a bank with 344 complaints about losing payments, not being able to reach anyone by phone, and the bank they transferred your loan to does not mail you statements and when you try to reach them online your message is your account is locked. Mortgage one gave you a nightmare for working with them. Shameful.
I’m am a very displeased seller who has been patiently waiting for this company. We are day 43 and still waiting for the clear to close. (2) days before we are supposed to close we were told that underwriting had issues with the buyers credit which is causing further delays. Any knowledgeable and experienced loan officer would of never presented the application in this fashion and would of previously had it addressed to avoid possible delays!!!
