We really got screwed by Mortgage Mac, and their appointed appraisal company. Poor communication, don't return phone calls. Mortgage Mac thought our home was a log house, and couldn't figure out it was not despite obvious photos and us submitting signed off build plans from the city. The appraisal report ordered by Mortgage Mac was finally returned 1 day before our escrow close despite us paying expediting fees.
