Morningstar of Hillsboro is a place to thrive as a senior. They have a warm saltwater pool, exercise classes, arts & crafts classes, outings, speakers and more.. Their food is great and varied, restaurant -style. Their staff is dedicated and caring. They go the extra mile.

More than two years ago I gave Morningstar 5 stars. The services provided to residents have deteriorated so significanty that I can only justify 1 star. There have been VERY SIGNIFICANT DECLINES in the following areas: * Management capability * Respect for residents * Food quality * Maintenance * Housecleaning * Truthful communications In addition, management personnel have retaliated against residents who provided honest feedback. BEWARE. Morningstar is not the faith-based, principled organization it once seemed to be.
