I’ve had the pleasure of visiting Morningside House of Leesburg several times now, and I have to say it stands out from every other retirement home I’ve seen or been to. I can't recommend Morningside House of Leesburg enough to my community friends and partners. I recently brought my Junior Writer Team to spend some time volunteering at the facility, and we were all blown away by what a welcoming and special place it is for seniors to live. I visited Morningside House of Leesburg yesterday. When I entered, I was greeted by the receptionist who was professional and friendly. The facility was clean and welcoming, and the staff answered my questions. I really appreciated that the staff are actual employees rather than coming from a staffing agency. It makes a difference in the level of care and consistency. I also loved how much effort they put into engaging residents with each other and with various activities—it really creates a warm and welcoming environment.
Staff should have background checks and be drug tested regularly.
