This building is bed bug infested they are on all floors hallways laundry rooms lobby and common areas. Seniors on fixed income are being charged for having furniture cleaned only to find out there apts are still infested. They have stopped up drains broken ac units and numerous other things that are never correctly repaired. These seniors are being bitten daily and are extremely stressed by the bug situation.
2 hour bathroom training wait for elders? Really?? That's like telling a toddler you can't go to the bathroom until you've waited for 2 hours and then you'll get assistance....

The last person that posted on here is very correct. I had applied for residency well over six months ago and had just came back to check on the status of my application to see if I had moved up on the waiting list when I was told that I had never turned in an application at all. After misplacing or throwing away my application it was probably a sign of things to come in the future. My wife stayed here after a knee replacement and they are wonderful here. We were impressed with the level of care.
I thought when I found Traditions At Portage Trail owned by National Church Residences I had finally found a decent place for my mother. They advertise Since 1961 combining compassion and professionalism in our ministry of housing and our services to older adults. It is my experience that this is all marketing propaganda as there Administrator Josephine H Stanovcak is a dictator who falsifies information just so she does not have to deal with anything and actually leave her office. These apts. are located near the stadium in a secluded area. They are very nice. The apt. Manager, Amelia Griffin is very efficient. She gave my mother who is 85 years old a wonderful tour and made her feel so comfortable about living there. I think she is great and has Christlike mannerisms. I think my mother would love this place.
That the people who work they are extremely rude and judgemental.
