Incompetent management. Staff training is questionable. Most of the staff has resigned. Many safety concerns for residents and staff that remain. Dozens upon dozens of DSS facility/safety/personnel violations. Thousands of dollars of DSS fines. Lowest state rated assisted living facility in Burke County, NC. Has beds for 60+ residents. Most have been moved to other facilities. Always go with the first impression! Walked in, staff was standing at the nurse station, not one of the 4 staff greeted me. Not having a clue, who I was! I ask the Nurse, was Lisa there.....she pointed at the lady behind me. I said, hi I wanted to fill out an application. She said, "yea" When I tell you the rudely nurse and the so called supervisor that is allowed to Hire people, this has got to be a joke. I just wanted to speak with Lisa about a job. PLEASE! IF YOU HAVE A FAMILY MEMBER THAT YOU LOVE, PLEASE DON'T PLACE THEM HERE AT MORGANTON LONG TERM CARE, 151 SOUTH VIEW ST. , MORGANTON, NC Both of my parent where here and fortunately they were in their right mind or who knows what they may have been subjected to. These patients were mistreated by the owner not the under paid staff! I talked to some of them and was told how their family was treated by her.
