Strode is an amazing place to LIVE! We all know how lucky we are to live here. It’s a beautiful building with wonderful common areas including a library, resident lounge with a grand piano, movie room, game room, craft room, exercise room with great equipment, and full on recycling center. Strode Independent Living is a wonderful home for us. We can gather with other residents for many activities - or live quietly if we choose. Food service is varied, which allows me to have an adventure at dinner, or revert to basic New England cuisine. I enjoy the care given by all the staff. I am comfortable and happy here and I recommend living here to all Seniors who enjoy company.
Residence management was authorized to access (via ACH) my bank account for current monthly rental payment on stipulated day only. Any other access was expressly forbidden verbally. Any & all indebtedness other than current rent was expressly denied & claimed to be an artifact of erroneous record keeping. Despite this & within days of this conversation, residence management attempted to withdraw disputed funds ($5919.25) from my account. Only the fact that my balance would not cover their attempted withdrawal prevented them ... read more
