UPDATE: Still like ANY government office, there are going to be bad days. Overall, these ladies are really nice whether doing car tags, or property tax. One of the best that I've been to!
Waited 30 minutes to get a tag. 7 people in line waiting. Lady comes out of the office and announces you must have insurance card (which I had) and that if you’re using a debit/credit card it HAS to be in your name! My husband gave me his card to pay for my tag, so I wasted 30 minutes of my time! Also, 2 ladies in there and only one was working the license counter while the other lady sat in the revenue side doing absolutely nothing. I had a great experience at this office, the lady I dealt with couldn’t have been any more cordial or nice, after dealing with the nightmare that is Jefferson County for years, this was truly a great experience, thank you.
awful experience. they don’t know what they’re talking about. literally clueless. wasted several hours trying to get what i needed done with them. then went to the Hartselle one and was out of there in less than 10 minutes.
Extremely rude staff they aren't trained just hired off the streets of Decatur don't waste your time going here
