I've been a member of Alcoholics Anonymous since 2006. I completed a recovery program in Louisville, Ky. in 2006. I'm now living life on life's terms since then living a productive life. My son ended up needing a recovery program. However when I came to recovery, they didn't offer any support in the area. This place literally saved my life and helped me develop a new direction.
I didn't like it, my fiance was there and the people who work there are jerks. Calling people names. It's not prison you don't have to degrade them guys like that. Most of the staff are old patients that stayed to help others, the way they talk to them guys is terrible.
I know several people that has gone through the program before Covid and they are still clean and sober.
