My father received excellent care in his last weeks of life on the second floor rehab wing. While he wasn't able to rehab his strength from pnemonia due to a cancer diagnosis he received while housed there, he was able to remain in his same room and continue to receive the high level of care he became accustomed to. As a Healthcare field worker, not affiliated with this facility ( just an on-looker) I can say without a doubt, if you're lucky enough to engage with Wendy in the dementia unit, or have a family member temporarily residing there... you have yourself a unicorn, of a nurse! I don't think she knows how GREAT she is! I watched and listened repeatedly, time after time.
