As a Healthcare field worker, not affiliated with this facility ( just an on-looker) I can say without a doubt, if you're lucky enough to engage with Wendy in the dementia unit, or have a family member temporarily residing there... you have yourself a unicorn, of a nurse! I don't think she knows how GREAT she is! I watched and listened repeatedly, time after time. DON of Moravian stated that adequate staffing is a “LUXURY after an employee voiced concerns about safety and was fired for whistle blowing. I’ve witnessed and seen in accountability inadequate care and sympathy to staff from leadership. Even inappropriate enough a threat to cut staffing down per statement letter by DON to each unit.
