We took my Mother to Morada through Embrace Hospice Tuesday, December 2nd so I could have a 5 day break. Mom suffers from dementia and we were called back to pick her up within less than 5 hours. I understand it was for Moms safety, but when I called the next day to see exactly what happened, the nice lady that helped admit her was very rude, as I was trying to ask questions about the whole terrible ordeal. The food is wonderful - especially thanks to Chef Hollywood! Tasty and creative menus, with special events and cookouts. He’s always willing to listen and open to suggestions, and he’s passionate about his craft!
My loved one had excellent care at skilled nursing/nursing home . Had same nursing staff the whole time.
I am a caregiver with Visiting Angels and over the past few years had the pleasure of caring for a few clients in different parts of the Morada facility. On August 1st my long time client was temporarily staying in the Special Care Unit before finally getting transferred home to spend his final days. The level of care he received during his stay in that wing was amazing, he had such a beautiful room, caring staff and housekeeping, absolutely delicious meals just a very amazing experience. Mom stayed here a week recovering from a UTI, we had to come get her because “she wasn’t improving”, mind you she has delirium that was still present from the UTI and she also has schizophrenia, but we figured we could do home rehab. Arrived to get her and she almost fell getting into the car and she was visibly out of it and not well, nearly fell again getting her into the house and I called the paramedics because she was not ok and they arrived and she had a really low blood pressure and was dehydrated which is crazy for t... read more
