Moosejaw Rocks! If you haven't signed up for their e-newsletter, you should. It's a hoot just reading it. Both the store and their website are super easy to navigate and find what you're looking for. The sales people know their stuff and are willing to help you test out your gear before you decide to make a purchase. They are no pressure sales (which I really like). Nice outdoors store! Moosejaw is a very uniqe store. They offer a wide variety of things for the outdoorsman! The prices are a little higher than you would see at a big name store, but then again their product is uniqe. You wont find the Moosejaw label anywhere but her.e They also have a huge selection of sweatshirts, in MANY different colors. What a fun store!
Top Selection If you're looking for an excellent outdoors store, check out Moosejaw Mountaineering in downtown Grosse Pointe Park. The selection is great with lots of top brands: North Face, Patagonia to name a few. The staff is very helpful. They even had kids' clothing & gear!
anything for camping or hiking store Moosejaw Mountaineering offers everything you can think of as far as camping, backpacking, water activities, etc. They welcome dogs inside the store and offer dog equipment. The sales people are all outdoorsy people so they know the products and how to use them well. Their recommendations are well appreciated. Prices are average to moderately high, but you are paying for their service as well.
