So, chaparral middle school suspended my son, but not the other kid, after a fight. My son was antagonized by a bigger kid that was making jokes about autism. This bigger kid faked a punch, so my son took him down. My son was also injured during the fight. So this school supports children who disrupt class, tease people about autism, and threaten harm, they didn’t even call it self defense. BOTH kids get suspended at the very least. I recommend everything about MUSD. We have the absolute best schools in the County. The teachers and staff in MUSD are the most caring, smart, professional, compassionate, and by far best around. We have the best school board who are willing to listen and take action. Everyone starting at our Superintendent and on down the line makes this the best district ever! From the smallest job to the biggest hardest job. There is always someone who is willing to help. I love Moorpark Unified.
Moorpark USD is a collaborative educational institution that serves all students. The networking and sharing among the professionals within the district creates a synergy that creates solutions and ideas that help students. Terrific people make for a wonderful place to educate children.
